JINPAT Through Bore Slip Rings are also known as Hollow Shaft Slip Rings and Through Hole Slip Rings. These slip ring branch is named because there is a central through hole going through the slip ring unit. The hollow shaft design is to facilitate installation on the shaft of application end or to allow other fluid/gas channels or power leads to pass through.
The through bore design makes through bore slip ring very practical especially in industrial production. The hollow shaft slip ring allows pipelines and electrical channels to pass through. And the slip ring can be easily installed on the robotic arm shaft to help maneuver and connect to different joints of the application.
The through hole diameter is optional from 0 to 1000mm, the slip ring loads power up to 5,000A. JINPAT Hollow Shaft Slip Rings transmit analogue signals, digital signals and power. LPS Separate Slip Rings
JINPAT Separate Slip Rings are also known as split slip rings and slip ring separates. This naming is due to its separate stator and rotor units. Compared to other slip rings, JINPAT separate slip rings are bare without any housing. This feature means it is super simple and flexible in structure with super light weight. The split slip ring is extremely space-saving and therefore fit in applications that have small installation space and with tight weight limits.
Without the protection of a housing, JINPAT separate slip rings have strict requirements of the application scene. And to reduce the threat of oxidization on its electronic performance, JINPAT slip ring separates adopt gold-plated copper contacts. The gold-plated copper contacts also contribute to the smooth and low friction 360-degree rotation and stable current/ signals transmission of the slip ring.
The conductive rings lie evenly on the surface of the rotor part. The rotor takes up hollow shaft design and the through bore diameter is optional depending on the requirement of application end. Meantime, the stator of the separate slip ring is with precision fiber brush, the gold-plated contacts that lies in a parallel pattern matching the rings on the rotor.
The open structure of JINPAT split slip ring also grant it a good heat dissipation characteristic. Beside, this slip ring unit is easy to inspect and be replaced. The separate slip ring helps simplify the electronic system while keeping a full and reliable rotary transmission of it.

LPK Pancake Slip Rings
JINPAT Pancake Slip Rings are coded as the JINPAT LPK slip ring series. They are slip rings developed for applications with restricted vertical space. Pancake slip ring is a variation from through bore slip ring, keeping a central hole in the slip ring unit. Given the shape of a short cylinder, a pancake slip ring resembles a pancake or a disk, so it is also known as flat slip ring and disk slip ring.
The structure of the pancake slip ring is quite different from the other types. The slip ring rings lies concentrically to each other, just like the soundtrack on a disk. And this structure gives JINPAT pancake slip ring an excellent heat dissipation performance. Minimum thickness down to 5.4mm. Its super thinness makes it like a duck to water in devices with limited vertical space.

JINPAT Through Bore Slip Rings Installation Instructions and Illustration
1. The slip ring unit should not bear the load of the connected equipment, nor any external pulling forces.
2. Avoid rigid connection between rotor and stator when install. The 4 screws should be mounted to fix the rotor on the rotation axis. Insert the rod into the anti-rotation tab on the stator side. Meanwhile, make sure the wires are well arranged to avoid intervention and breakage.
3. Slip rings are high precision electronic components. To cope with harsh environment, a custom slip ring solution with higher protection grading is preferable.

Notes for JINPAT LPT Through Bore Slip Ring
1. Please remain intact of the leads during installation. Avoid effect on electronic performances due to wire breakage.
2. Rotor side is connected to the stator side through flexible connection instead of rigid coupling to ensure a longer service life.
3. To avoid looseness and falling of the nails due to impacts and shocks, locking measures are adopted to stabilize the nails.
